Last week, we were invited to speak at a hybrid conference on natural hydrogen organised by the CNRTEC, Centre du Nickel. The main objective of the meeting was to provide an overview of New Caledonia’s hydrogen potential based on global advancements, and to explore what this carbon-neutral “new energy source” could bring to the nickel industry.
Samuel Barbier gave a presentation on our start-up, including our services and our main research and development projects. Eric C. Gaucher also contributed by sharing his experience of fieldwork in New Caledonia.
We were pleased to attend the presentations by Nicolas Gonthier and Christophe Hecker on Earth2 and Pôle Avenia, by Vincent Roche (Le Mans Université) on how AI can help identify H₂ hotspots, and by Ema Frery (CSIRO) on the Australian natural hydrogen industry.
Thanks to Médéric Suon for the invitation.
