The RockyH₂ team is proud to announce that it has been awarded the €90k French Tech Emergence Grant (BFTE) from Bpifrance to develop a prototype of a next-generation hydrothermal reactor. This designation officially classifies us as a deep-tech company.

The prototype will allow us to deepen our understanding of optimised hydrothermal reactions, boost the production of natural hydrogen (white and orange hydrogen), store CO₂ and address the presence of metals. These developments are central to RockyH₂’s mission and will also enable us to expand our service offering in the long term.

A special thanks to the Bpifrance team in Lyon (Antoine Roux and Jonathan Guichard) and to everyone who has helped and supported us since the start of this entrepreneurial journey: the Lyon Geology Laboratory (LGL-TPE), PULSALYS, Lyon Ingénierie Projets, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and OTECI News – AURA.

This project was funded by the Region and/or the State as part of France 2030.
